Director of Upbuild Foundation
Nadia holds a Ph.D. in History and Theory of Architecture and a master's degree in City and Regional Planning. Her area of research is the resettlement of displaced populations and refugees. She believes that real change happens from below, which is why her work is framed around the empowerment of the disenfranchised individual.
She has experience working with grassroots organizations in Turkey and Pakistan and community development organizations in the USA.
She has taught at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and is currently working with a nonprofit that builds affordable housing in Illinois. Dr. Shah is an active board member of the Northern Illinois American Muslim Alliance (a political action committee based in Illinois). Nadia serves on the board of her Park District as a commissioner.

Dr. Aisha Sethi is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Yale University School of Medicine and Director of the Yale Dermatology Global Health Program .She was faculty in dermatology previously at the University of Chicago where she was Associate Professor of Dermatology and also the Director of Outreach for the Center for Global Health at the University of Chicago. After attending medical school in Pakistan, she completed her postdoctoral fellowship, internship, and residency in dermatology at Yale University, where she served as chief resident. Her interests in tropical medicine, immigrant minority and refugee populations, and global infectious diseases with dermatologic manifestations have led her to field work in Pakistan, Malawi, Jordan, the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in London, and Tanzania. She is especially interested in addressing global access to medical care, migrant health, medical diplomacy programs, and improving medical training and dermatologic therapies in developing countries. She has lectured on these latter issues nationally and internationally and published guidelines for streamlining refugee health in publications for the Chicago Council for Global Affairs and the WHO. In 2010, Dr. Sethi was chosen for the leadership program sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology and was chosen by the Chicago Council of Global Affairs for the prestigious 2 year fellowship for Emerging Leaders in 2014. She has set up a dedicated dermatology elective exchange program with Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe, Malawi, for medical students and dermatology residents since 2007. Her albinism awareness work in Malawi has been featured by national and international media and has been recognized and supported by the Malawian government. In 2010, Dr. Sethi was awarded the Presidential Volunteer Service Award from the White House Council on Service and Civic Participation for her volunteer efforts. She currently serves as the Chair of the community dermatology committee for the ISD (International Society of Dermatology) .

Dr. Haider pursued a medical degree from Dow Medical College, Karachi in 1994. He received his training in Internal Medicine at Beaumont Hospital Dearborn, Michigan; Infectious Disease fellowship training at University of Louisville, Kentucky, a special training in coagulation disorders at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Hematology and Oncology fellowship training at University of Tennessee, Memphis and stem cell transplant fellowship training at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee.
He has run a medical practice in North Carolina and served at faculty positions at the University of Tennessee, Memphis and University of Kentucky.
He has worked since 2015 in Chicago, at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America and more recently at Advocate Aurora Health.
Dr. Noman Haider is actively involved with many community organizations in Chicago. He also has been involved with organizing many distance learning activities. He has helped organize many philanthropic projects in DG Khan, Pakistan. He co founded the academic institutions of Ahsan Memorial Foundation and L2L academy in Pakistan to promote project based learning.
His interests include history, environment preservation, promoting social activism, and exploring historical cities and natural wonders.
Dr. Haider is an active board member of the Northern Illinois American Muslim Alliance (NIAMA), a political action committee based in Illinois.

Dr. Amin Ur Rehman Nadeem is a Critical Care Physician at North Chicago.
He is an Academician and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, North Chicago
He received his medical education from Pakistan and completed Residency Training and Fellowship from the USA.
Throughout his career, he has actively been engaged with community and social service work.
He has been in leadership roles on several committees, including the Civic Engagement chapter at Islamic Foundation North in Gurnee, IL.and Bait Ul Maal in Irving, TX., to support the prevention of blindness in Pakistan since 2011.
Dr. Nadeem was the president of the Pakistani Descent Physician's Society of IL. during the COVID pandemic in 2020, and .organized free clinics during the pandemic.
He is the Chairperson of the telehealth program for uninsured and indigent patients in Illinois, established in collaboration with ICNA Relief and the Pakistani Physicians Society.
He is an active board member of the Northern Illinois American Muslim Alliance (a political action committee based in Illinois). He is also a Board member of the Council of Islamic Organizations of Greater Chicago.

Maaz is a premed student at Depaul University with a passion for community work. Maaz spent the summer of 2022 in Kilis, a border city in Turkey, known for hosting Syrian refugees. Maaz serves on e-boards of his school clubs and continues to work for Upbuild Foundation outside of school. He has volunteered and interned with NIAMA (Northern Illinois American Muslim Alliance), a political action committee based in Illinois.
